As of January 2010, the San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra is now a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
It is run by a Board of Directors. New directors and officers were elected in June, 2010. These are:
- Nicola Bocus (President)
- Sarah Bell (Secretary)
- Ed Schilling (Treasurer)
- Kevin Evans
- Sam Gutterman
Any donation to the orchestra would be tax-deductible. We need money to buy instruments, finance teaching to low-income students, buy software to arrange music, and commission new compositions.
